Construction of a daily regulation basin (DRB) has begun in the village of Zhetigen, Kadamzhai district, Batken region.
Construction of a daily regulation pond (DRP) has begun in the village of Zhetigen, Kadamjai district, Batken region. This project was initiated to improve the region’s water supply and irrigation systems, which is particularly important for agricultural production.
Project goals and objectives:
Full utilization of water resources: Currently, high-altitude water sources are underutilized due to the lack of a water collection system. The new DRP will address this issue by collecting and storing water.

Full utilization of water resources: Currently, high-mountain water sources are underutilized due to the lack of a water collection system. The new BSR will solve this problem by collecting and storing water.
Increase in irrigated area: The new BSR, with a capacity of 500,000 cubic meters, will allow for the irrigation of 1,500 hectares of agricultural land in the village of Kyrgyz-Kyshtak.
Mechanical water treatment: 6.4 million soms have been allocated from the national budget for mechanical treatment.
