Construction and Equipping of Hydrological Posts Across Kyrgyzstan
A network of 7 hydrological posts has been delivered across the Chuy and Naryn regions of Kyrgyzstan. Built and commissioned to support systematic hydrological monitoring of the country’s rivers and waterways, each facility captures reliable data on water conditions and flow regimes using modern hydrometric instruments.

The posts are situated across a range of natural conditions — from the mountain river valleys of Naryn to the lowlands of Chuy — with each facility designed around the specific watercourse and site conditions it serves.
The completed network includes posts on the Ala-Archa, Chu, Chon-Kemin, Ysyk-Ata, Iyri-Suu, Kara-Kuzhur, and Sook rivers.
Comprehensive Hydrological Monitoring Infrastructure
A hydrological post is an integrated engineering facility designed to enable accurate measurement and safe working conditions for specialists.
Depending on site-specific requirements, a post may include the main observation station, stilling wells, staff gauges, hydrometric bridges or cableway crossings, instrument shelters, service and accommodation facilities, and site fencing.
